1. What can I expect from the 30 minute consultation?
The consultation will be onsite. We will take a look at your "natural" surrounding. We will discuss your goals for this project and how you would like to organize your things. With your permission, we will take photos of your place to find the best method for organizing your space in an efficient manner.
2. What if I am not ready to discard my belongings?
We will go through each item. Whether or not to discard an item is up to you. However, just keep in mind that we are here to help you simplify your life. Part of simplifying your life involves keeping only the things that bring you joy and discarding the unnecessary items.
3. How much do you charge?
The price is based on the project. For more details, please see What We Do page and click on the Process and Pricing tab.
4. Will you help me donate or dispose of the things I no longer need at the end of the session?
Yes, if that what you would like us to do. In general, if all the items fit in our vehicle, we will help you donate or dispose of them after the session. We believe that if we leave it up to you to dispose of or donate them, you might have second thoughts and then you will be back having a cluttered place.
5. What is your role as an Organizing Coach?
We are there to guide you through the process. We will help you sort the items as you make your decision on whether or not to keep them. We are there to encourage you and to help you see your goal. We will be there from the beginning to the end. It's our job to make sure you succeed.
6. Do I need to buy storage containers?
Do not buy anything for storage. We will reuse what you already have on-hand. We do not believe you have to have a fancy storage system to organize the things you love. Unless you prefer to have matching and color-coded storage units and/or all your containers are damaged, there is no need to purchase anything.
