These days, we can find all sorts of creative ways to store our things.  Home organization stores have a big variety of storage solutions for us to choose from, enough to fill each of our rooms with storage from wall to wall.  We can store our things on the wall, hang them from the ceiling, on shelves, corner shelves to put in the corner of the room, and even behind the door.  The storage units can occupy every wall, floor, and ceiling in our room.  With this much storage space, we can buy more things to put in them.  The home organization stores are very good at helping us organize our things, so we don’t have to discard anything, even the unnecessary and meaningless items.

1.  Involve your child

You want to create a system that works for her. Think of yourself as a professional organizer and your child as a client. Lower yourself to her eye level so you can see things from her point of view.

2.  Evaluate.

How do you make it easy for her to put things away? Try to identify what systems worked for her in the past and what didn’t.  For example, She might not hang her clothes up because the closet rod is out of reach or her dirty clothes might be on the floor because she doesn’t have a laundry basket in her room.
